MY WORK
brian the barber
Brian initially came to me looking for a business card to promote his work as a barber. Before creating individual assets, I believe it's important to establish the visual identity. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and playful style of traditional Lotería cards, I developed a logo, typography, and color palette. Of course, I also created his business card along side a social media profile picture.
lularoo bakery
When I first connected with LulaRoo Bakery they had very little branding for their business. I worked closely with them, learning about their ideas, goals and vision for LulaRoo Bakery. Taking this information, I designed a new brand identity and built out assets including a menu, invoice template and stationery. After a rudimentary photoshoot and some work in Photoshop I was able to capture photos that represent both the delicious goods and brand identity. I also developed an e-commerce website for LulaRoo Bakery. This streamlined purchasing and processing, enhanced brand recognition and made their goods more accessible. Their website, supported by its visual identity, continues to distinguish LulaRoo Bakery.
new york lunch box
New York Lunch Box, or NYLB, is a brand designed to reflect New York City's street culture. Inspired by corner bodegas, the visual identity blends utilitarian design with iconic city symbols. Though this project was never completed due to the client’s personal circumstances, it remains an impactful exploration of authentic, city-driven branding.
hampshire college
During my studies at Hampshire College, I worked as Design and Communications Coordinator for both the Learning Collaboratives Network and Common Good Residency. I first established a unique visual identity for each group; focusing on color as the main link between designs. I applied the visual identity to Google Sites, posters, screen promotions, zines and other assets. Everything from the way I structured the visual identities, to the program used for the websites was designed to allow other students to build off my work.
conserve wetlands
These designs were for the imaginary brand “Conserve Wetlands”. For this project I created digital illustrations as well as my own original typeface. I also worked on a lot of different brand applications like laser cutting a rubber stamp, vinyl cutting stickers and printing a folded poster. Applying my designs to these various forms of media expanded my capabilities and led me to better understand the production process.
anna vikre jewelry
The work featured here was created for Anna Vikre, a jeweler and craftswoman. Anna came to me needing a website to showcase her one-of-a-kind jewelry. She already had a logo for her brand so I built the visual identity around the existing color and typography. We used a minimalist aesthetic so that the focus was on her unique products.
source naturelle
Source Naturelle is a vegan bed and breakfast on a vegetable farm in Canada. I developed the branding including the logo, color palette, typography and visual guide. The client’s primary request was a logo to showcase a variety of vegetables. I hand-drew vegetables for the logo, and chose an earthy color palette to give a wholesome tone to the visual identity. A Wix website is under development for Source Naturelle as well.
seymour sealing service inc.
This company falls under two names, Seymour Sealing Service and Stone Driveways of New England. Using their existing logos as the foundation, I organized and completed their visual identity. I applied this branding to marketing collateral, social media and a website. I designed these assets to be legible and straightforward in regard to their client base.
